Ionia Standard, page 9, 17 Sep 1886

The funeral of Fred Kelsey, of Berlin, was held on Sunday afternoon, the
services being conducted by Rev. Job Pierson D.D. of this city.  Music was
furnished by the Presbyterian choir, and the members of the high school class of
which the deceased was a member were all present.  There was a very large
attendance, the house and grounds being crowded.  The grief-stricken parents
have the deepest sympathy of the entire community.

[Transcriber's Note:  There are notations on the obituary card that he was the
son of Alexander and Narcissa Kelsey, and he was buried in Balcom Cemetery.]
