Ionia Sentinel Standard, 24 Oct 1951

Miss Josephine Kelsey, 80, of Grand Rapids died Wednesday, October 24, at
Butterworth hospital after a brief illness.  

She was born in Ionia and lived here about 40 years.  Her parents were Maj. and
Mrs. A.F. Kelsey and the family farm home was the Townsend farm on Kelsey
highway.  Her sole survivor is Mrs. Joseph Heald of Grand Rapids, a cousin.

Services will be conducted at the Grace Episcopal church in Grand Rapids at 10
a.m. Friday.  Burial will be in Balcom cemetery.
