She was married in Grand Rapids about three years ago to Joseph Kemerer and went with him to their home in Kersey, where they lived happily until about nine months ago, when stricken with the white plague she was taken to a noted Buffalo hospital for treatment by one of the best doctors in the country. Receiving no help she expressed a wish to be brought to her father’s home and after eleven weeks in the hospital she was brought here where she has suffered for seven months, at times hovering between life and death only to rally for another struggle with the grim monster. The funeral was held at the Miriam Catholic church on Tuesday, Rev. John M. Zindler officiating and the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery there. She was 33 years of age and was loved by all who knew her. A devoted husband, father, mother and seven sisters are left to mourn her departure to the other shore.
