Ionia Sentinel Standard, 21 Jul 1972

Bliss A. Kemmerling, 78, of 11272 East Grand River, Portland, died at Lansing 
General hospital Thursday.

He was a Veteran of World War I, former Lansing city market employee 24 years 
and also former A & P market employee.

Surviving is his wife, Ruby.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Neller funeral home in 
Portland.  Rev. Daniel Falk of Good Hope Lutheran church of Portland will 
officiate.  Interment will be at Danby cemetery.  Military services will be 
conducted at the graveside.
