Ionia County News - April 10, 1947


Mrs Katherine Reinhardt (Mrs. George) Kemp 83, died Sunday in GrandRapids. She 
was born near ann Arbor and came to a farm six miles south of Belding as a  
young girl.

In 1882 she was married to George Kemp of Miriam. They lived in that commuinty 
until 1908 when they moved to Belding. Mr. Kemp died 21 years ago. Surviving is 
one son, Frank of Belding.

Funeral service was held from St. Joseph’s church Wednesday morning. Burial in 
the St. Joseph Cemetery.
