Railway company, in whose services he remained until his death occurred in Blodgett hospital in Grand Rapids, Mich., on the seventh day of April, 1923, where he had been for treatment the last four months. The funeral was on Wednesday, the eleventh of April at the home of his brother, Charles Kench, 334 Center street, at 2:30 p.m. His parents, James and Hannah Kench, from Kenosha, Wisc., Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kench, Ionia; Mr. and Mrs. J.S. Tennant and daughter, Carson City, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kench and son, Ionia; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kench and daughter, of Ionia; Mr. and Mrs. Emery Parr and sons of Lansing, and Horace Kench, of Lansing. Out-of-town friends: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Case, Mrs. Link, Mr. Bracy, of Greenville; Mrs. Faye, Mrs. Welch, C. Atkinson, of Grand Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cary of Muskegon; Mr. and Mrs. Eli Munn, of Shiloh. Burial was at the family plot at Highland Park cemetery.
