The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Standard, Thursday, October 2, 1947

The funeral of Edward F. Kendall of Honolulu, Hawaii, was held Sunday, 
September 28, from Muir Presbyterian church with Dr. Paul Stewart officiating 
at the services in which he paid tribute to the deceased man’s 24 years of 
service as instructor with the youth of McKinley high school in Honolulu.  
Masonic lodge F. and A.M. attended in a body and conducted special services.  
Interment was in the family lot at Muir cemetery.  Mrs. White had charge of 
the music.
