Ionia - Blanch E. Kendall 93, of Ionia died Tuesday at Ionia Manor.  

Born June 22, 1894, in Ionia, she was the daughter of Richard and Mary Huyck 
Hill.

She was graduated from Ionia school and was married to Eldon Kendall on March 
13, 1915. They lived in Detroit, Grand Rapids and Flint before moving to 
Ronald Township to help her father on his farm.  They owned and operated their 
own fruit farm for years.  He died March 3, 1968.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ionia, the church's CCW Class, 
and the Forget-Me-Not Club.

A daughter, Mariella Tafel Raven, also preceded her in death.

Surviving are a daughter, two granddaughters; five great grandsons and several 
nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday from the First Baptist Church of 
Ionia with the Rev. Timothy Gillette officiating.

Burial will be in Palo Cemetery.
