Malcolm H. (Bill) Kendall, 73, of 8233 Front St.,  Palo, died Monday at his 
home.  He was born  April  23, 1906 in Ronald Township, the son of Fred and 
Jessie Kendall.  He was a lifelong  resident of Palo.  He was retired from 
Ranney Refrigeration.  He was a member of the Palo Masonic Lodge and worked with 
the Palo  Scouts.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura, in 1973. 

Surviving  are two  step-sons, Forrest Brune, of Belding, and Carl Herman Bruce, 
of  Edmore; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. 
Mary Phillips of VanNuis, Calif.; and one brother, Jessie of Palo.  Services 
will  be Thursday at 1 pm  from the  Stebbins and Simpson Funeral Home at 
Sheridan with the  Rev. Kenneth Harger of the Shiloh Community  Church 
officiating.

Burial will be in the Palo  Cemetery.  Friends may visit the funeral home today 
from 7 pm until 8:30 pm.
