Bridge, which took place about one o’clock that morning. Mrs. Kendall had been in poor health for some time due to heart trouble, but was sufficiently improved Sunday that she visited during the evening at her neighbors’, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Hudson’s. Shortly before her passing she summoned Mrs. Nettie White and it was while the latter was waiting on Mrs. Kendall, after calling the family physician, that the end came. Ella D. Sagendorf was born October 23, 1859, in Stockwood, New York, and was united in marriage to Eli Kendall, December 29, 1880. To this union was born a son, Stanley Kendall, who resides in New York city and was here for the funeral services Wednesday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Kendall greatly enjoyed their 50th wedding anniversary in the winter of 1930. The family came to Belding in 1890 and has made many friends in this city both in church and social circles who regret the breaking of this family circle. Funeral services were held from the late home at 2 o’clock Wednesday, Rev. C.W. Biastock, of the Baptist church, of which the deceased was a most faithful member, officiated and burial was made in River Ridge cemetery. Surviving besides the husband and son are two brothers, Ed. Sagendorf of this city, and L.H. Sagendorf, of Greenville.
