Ionia Sentinel - Thursday, July 12, 1900

Hubbardston - Death of Mrs. Kendall - Annual School Meeting - Fr. Hayden's 
First Mass.

HUBBARDSTON, July 10 - Mrs. Felton Kendall, of Lyons township, died at Harper's 
hospital, Detroit, July 4, from the effects of a surgical operation performed 
the day before. Caddie N. Stoudt was born in North Plains, July 29, 1872. At 
the age of 16 years she united with the United Bretheren church at Matherton. 
March 22, 1893 she married to Felton Kendall, of Lyons. After her marriage she 
united by letter with the Presbyterian church at Muir, of which her husband was 
a member. Their union was a perfect affinity, and blessed by a son, born April 
9, 1894. Her sweet Christian character won for her the esteem of all who made 
her acquaintance, and beamed through the malady from which she suffered for 
four months. Funeral was held at the residence Friday at 10 a.m., Rev. W.E. 
Ogden, of Lyons, officiating. Interment in Muir cemetery.
