Sentinel-Std. - Monday, July 19, 1982

IONIA- Edna Mary Kendall, 93, formerly of W. Main Street, Ionia, died Sunday at 
Villa Elizabeth, Grand Rapids. 

She was born July 26, 1888 in Clyde, Ohio to Mr. and Ms. Healy, and grew up in 
the Palo area.

she married Roy Kendall in 1910, and he died April 17, 1963.

She operated a beauty shop in her home since 1927.

She worked for the F.W. Stevenson company, the Fashion Store, and the D.W. 
Marriett agency, all of Ionia.

She was a member of the SS Peter and Paul Church, the Rosary Society ad the 
Royal Neighbors.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Ray Robertson of Calif.; two nieces, Mrs. 
Dana Tucker of Calif. and Ms. Martha Billingsley of Ariz.; one nephew, Dale 
Heath of Flint; and several nieces and nephews by marriage.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the SS Peter and Paul church 
with The Rev. Henry Dondzila officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Rosary services will be Tuesday at 8 p.m. from the Myers-Roetman Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home Tuesday from 
7 to 9 p.m.
