The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, November 19, 1934
Mrs. Jessie H. Kendall, 65, wife of Fred Kendall, near Palo, died suddenly 
Monday morning at 2 o’clock.  She had several attacks of heart trouble and 
illness during the past year, but she had not been seriously ill.  She is 
survived by her husband; five children, Forbes Kendall, of Grand Rapids; Jesse 
Kendall, Palo; Malcomb Kendall, at home; Mrs. Mary Phillips, Pasadena, Cal.; 
Mrs. Etta Gould, South Bend, Ind., and three grandchildren, Lester, Stanley 
and Kendall Minier, of Ionia and Ronald.

Mrs. Kendall was born at Lowell 1869 the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William 
Forbes.  She was married July 4, 1888 to Fred Kendall, and had resided in 
Ronald township for the past 46 years.  

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the home 
near Palo. Rev. Floyd Drake, pastor of the Methodist church at Hubbardston 
conducting the services.  Burial will be at Palo cemetery.
