Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 20 Nov 1944

The body of Orson Kendrick. 80, who died Sunday in the home of his son, Francis 
Kendrick, in Chicago, will arrive at the Myers funeral home Tuesday where a 
prayer service will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock.  Burial will be in 
Mt. Olivet cemetery.

Mr. Kendrick was born in Lyons township and had spent many years in Ionia before 
going to Chicago to be with his son.  He was married to the former Mary Dinning, 
who died in 1841.  Surviving besides his son, Francis, are two grandchildren.
