Mr. Kennedy was born near Lakeview and would have been 34 years old in May. He was stricken with appendicitis a week ago, but was not considered dangerously ill until Tuesday evening when he was taken to the hospital. However, hope was held out that he had a chance of recovery, but Sunday he was seized with hiccoughs and in his weakened condition could not withstand the strain. He was married to Miss Muriel Sharp a year ago in January who with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Kennedy, and a brother, Myron, survive him, also a cousin, Mrs Ethel Almy, of Lakeview, who had made her home with his parents in girlhood, survive him. The Kennedys came to Orleans about 15 years ago having bought the F.L. Currie farm three-fourths of a mile south of the village. Mr. Kennedy was an active member of the Orleans Methodist church and school and took a great deal of interest in all the worthwhile projects of the community. Funeral services are being held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the house and 2:30 at the church.
