Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 19 Mar 1977

Paul E. Kennedy, 34, of 541 Hall street, died early Friday in Blodgett hospital
in Grand Rapids from a gunshot wound.  Born in Ozark, Alabama, March 5, 1943, he
was the son of Paul and Grace Cotton Kennedy, Sr., and attended schools in
Alabama and served in the United States Air Force before moving to Michigan,
where he married Mildred Eaton December 26, 1964, in Ionia.  The family had made
its home in this area since.  He was a member of the Ionia Moose Lodge.

Surviving besides his wife Mildred are two sons, Chad and Thad, and a daughter,
Radgeline, all at home.  Also surviving are four brothers, Charles of
Birmingham, Ala., Walter in Florida, Joseph of Ozark, Ala., and Fred Biddy of
Birmingham, Ala.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday from Leddick funeral home in Ionia, with Rev.
Marvis Hale of Grace Baptist church officiating.  The family will be at the
funeral home from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, to receive friends.  Burial is in
Balcom cemetery.
