Sentinel-Std. - Monday, Aug. 23, 1976

BELDING- Mrs. Dorothy K. Kennedy, 63, of route 3, died Saturday at Grand Rapids 
Osteopathic hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born November 27, 1912 in Saskatoon Saskatchewan, Canada.

Mrs. Kennedy was a lifelong area resident. She was formerly employed by 
McInerney Spring and Wire company in Grand Rapids and was a member of the Venus 
chapter 107, Order of the Eastern Star, Grattan.

She married Charles J. Kennedy, September 20, 1933, at Elkhart, Indiana. He 
survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Darle Rickert of Lowell, three sons, 
Charles of Rome, Italy, Michael M. and Robert of Grand Rapids and nine 
grandchildren.

Services are Tuesday at 1:30 pm from the Charles M. Courser funeral home in 
Belding with Rev. Alfred P. Miller of Belding First Baptist church officiating.

Burial is in Ashley cemetery, Kent county.

Memoriams may be made to the American Cancer society.

Family members will be at the funeral home Monday 7 to 8:30 to receive friends 
and relatives.
