Mrs. Ona A. Kennedy, 84, of route 1, died early Sunday morning at Gratiot
Community hospital at Alma.  Her death was a result of injuries sustained in an
automobile accident in early June in which her husband, Myron S. Kennedy, died.

Born in Easton township July 23, 1890, she was the daughter of John and Margaret
E. Cole Musselman, and was a lifelong resident of the area.  She was married to
Myron S. Kennedy November 9, 1921.

Her only survivors are nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Belding First Baptist church, and its organist and
Sunday school teacher, member of the Grand Valley Rock and Mineral society,
Washington club, Farm Bureau and the Gideon auxiliary.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Belding First Baptist church.
 Rev. Alfred P. Miller will officiate and interment will be at the Orleans
cemetery.  Until time of services the body will be at the Charles M. Courser
funeral home at Belding.  A memorial has been established for the Belding First
Baptist church music fund.
