Ionia Sentinel Standard, 9 Mar 1974

Word was received in Ionia Thursday by Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Kenney of 213 Hart 
of the death of his brother, Floyd James Kenny, Sr., 63, of Citrus Heights, 
Calif., and formerly of Ionia. 

He was born in Ionia August 22, 1910, the son of Henry and Burle Kenney.  He 
died at Mercy San Juan Hospital at Carmichael, Calif., March 7 at 10 a.m. 
following an extended illness.

Among his survivors are his wife, Marion of Citrus Heights; six sons, Floyd 
Kenney, jr., of Ionia, Richard of St. Louis, Tom, Jerry, Edwin and Patrick of 
Citrus Heights; three daughters, Mrs. Beverly Hicks and Mrs. Alice Jones of 
Saranac, and Carol Kenney at home; 17 grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Beueha O’Shae 
of Newaygo and brother, Leonard Kenney of Ionia.

Funeral services will be Monday at Price funeral home at Citrus Heights, Calif.
