Ionia Sentinel Standard, Mon. Sept. 30, 1963
Mrs. Bessie F. Kenny, 83, of Royal Garden estate, Bradenton, Fla., died Friday 
night.  She was a native of Palo, formerly resided in Ionia and lived for a 
number of years in Detroit.

Her husband, William K. Kenny died April 6, 1956 and Mrs. Kenny moved to 
Florida in 1961.

She is survived by a son, William H. Kenny of Indianpolis, Ind.; a daughter, 
Mrs. Helen MacDowell of Bradenton; one grandchild; two great-granchilren; and 
a sister, Mrs. Mary Sandborn of Ferndale.

The body of Mrs. Kenny will arrive early Tueday morning at Boyton funeral home 
where it will repose until 2:30 p.m.  Graveside service will be conducted at 3 
o'clock at Palo cemetery by the Rev. Harold A. Jayne of First Methodist church.
