Dolores was born March 13, 1931, in Belding, the daughter of Ronald and Bernice Osworth Parks. A lifelong resident of Belding, Dee was known as the “lunch lady,” having worked for the Belding Area Schools lunch program for 30 years. She had served as a past president of the Fireman’s Auxiliary and was a past member of Belding United Methodist Church. Dee had also served on the Belding Dial-a-Ride Board since its inception. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Dee married the love of her life, Robert Kenny, on Aug. 23, 1948, in Belding. She was preceded in death by her parents; three children, David, Guy and Kathy; and sister, Thelma Bradford. She is survived by her husband, Robert Kenny; their children, Nancy and Richard Rice of Belding, Ronald and Sharee Kenny of Greenville, John and Kelly Kenny of Belding; daughter-in-law, Judy Willmore of Stanton; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and brother, Jack McConnell of Belmont. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, with Pastor Ken Harger of Shiloh Community Church officiating. Interment is in Clear Lake Cemetery, Fenwick. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Michigan.
