Munger, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock, following a stroke of paralysis with which she was stricken on Monday. She arrived in Portland form Bay City, Sunday, intending to spend some time in this vicinity with relatives. Mrs. Kent’s maiden name was Belle Carbaugh and in 1882 she was married to Charles Kent who passed away at the Munger home last October. She had lived in this vicinity nearly all her lifetime, until 10 years ago when she moved to Bay City. She is survived by on son and three daughters, Mrs. Chas. Munger, of Portland; Mrs. Harry Ervans, of Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Cora Coons, of Owosso and William Kent of Mt. Pleasant. Three sisters and three bothers also survive. They are Mrs. Otis Ferguson, of Orange, Mrs. William Whitmore, of Ionia, Mrs. Caroline Allerton, of Mt. Pleasant, George Carbaugh, of Portland, W. J. Carbaugh, of Lansing and Grant Carbaugh, of Sebewa. Funeral services will be held from the Munger home, Friday afternoon at two o’clock, in charge of Rev. J. H. Stewart.
