Gerald Loren Kent, 65, of Defiance, Ohio, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2011 at his 
home. He was born Feb. 18, 1945 to Miles and Orpha (Nostrandt) Kent in Remus.

He retired from GM Fisher Body in Lansing, and served in the military.

He is survived by two sons, David (Jennifer) Kent of Lake Odessa, and Kevin 
(Kristin) Kent of Michigan; two grandchildren; three brothers, Palmer and Autry 
Kent of California, and Clark Kent of Michigan; and one sister, Holly Kent of 
Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

No services are planned. Memorial contributions in Gerald’s name may be made to 
the charity of the donor’s choice.
