Resident Here Several Years Passed Away

Almon Kent, Local Painter and Paper Hanger Dies.  Leaves Widow.

The article we had written in regard to the death of C. Almon Kent was left out
of The Wave Times last week through an oversight.  We did not note the omission
until after the papers were printed when we found the mislaid copy.  Mr. Kent,
69, a resident of Lake Odessa for many years, died at his home here on Friday,
May 8, after a short illness from pneumonia.  He had followed the trade of
painting and paper hanging.

He is survived by the window, Lura Kent, a grandchild, Mrs. Leon Schnuff at
Grand Ledge, a brother, Wesley, and nieces and nephews.  The funeral was held at
the home on Sunday afternoon, May 10, and burial was in Lakeside cemetery, the
Rev. Carnell of Grand Ledge Baptist church conducted the services.
