Simeon Kent Died Sunday Morning

Simeon Kent, one of the familiar persons on our business streets, died Sunday
morning after a two weeks illness.  Mr. Kent was 58 years of age and for many
years had lived in Lake Odessa.  For the last two or three years he had been in
the employ of Byron Goodsell.  He was born in Campbell township, was a member of
the U. B. Church in Christ.

The funeral was held at the home and the pastor of his church, Rev. A. LaVerne
Spafford, preached.  Burial was in Lake Side cemetery.
