Myrna Edith Louise Kent, of Ionia, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on 
Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

She was born on Aug. 30, 1947 to Harry and Josephine Vogt of Ionia. Myrna was 
a graduate of Ionia High School in 1965 and worked at the Sheridan Hospital 
and Ionia County Memorial Hospital before joining the IUE as a representative.

Myrna was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Norman Vogt.  Myrna 
is survived by her children David (Jennifer) Kent, Kevin (Kristin) Kent; her 
grandchildren Lauren and Nicklas Kent; her brother Phillip (Ellie) Vogt; niece 
and nephews and many friends. 

A memorial service is planned for Oct. 27 at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist 
Church of Ionia, 116 West Main Street. Memorial contributions may be made to 
the First Baptist Church of Ionia.
