The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, January 26, 1946

Funeral services for James Nelson Kenter, 41, who died suddenly Tuesday 
evening in Saginaw, were held Friday at 2 o’clock from the Myers funeral home, 
with the Rev. Wayne Davis officiating.  Interment was at Highland Park 
cemetery.

Bearers were Fred Piper, Gerard Perry, Peter Wirtz, and Howard Smiley.
