Kenyon, widow of the late Nathan Kenyon, of Ionia, at the home of her cousin, Mrs. Charlotte Goss, in this village. Liver trouble, together with other complications, were the immediate causes of death. Mrs. Kenyon was born in Geneva, N.Y., 75 years ago, but had been a resident of Ionia the greater part of her life, her late husband having been engaged in the hardware business there for many years. Mr. Kenyon, who was the father of Henry Kenyon, of Sebewa, and Mrs. Chas. Lauster, of Ionia, died in Los Angeles, Cal., six years ago and is buried there. Besides the step-children Mrs. Kenyon is survived by several cousins, including Mrs. Goss, of Portland, and Mrs. A. L. Corey, of Stanton, who have had most care of the patient. Don F. Goss, of Wilmette, Ill, Miss Charlotte Shaver, a cousin, of Terre Haute, Ind., Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Lauster and Miss Sue Townsend, of Ionia were here for the funeral services, conducted Monday afternoon at the Goss residence by Rev. Cyrus Mendenhall, rector of the Ionia Episcopal church. The remains were buried in Portland cemetery.
