Ionia Daily Standard, 15 Apr 1907

Mrs. Georgia L. Kenyon of Yorkville, Mich., who has been spending the winter
with her sister, Mrs. Gregg Williams of this city, died Sunday evening at 10:30,
after an illness of two weeks aged 68 years.  She had been a widow 41 years. 
Her husband, John E. Kenyon, was a first lieutenant in the 28th Michigan
volunteers.  He was killed at Pensacola, N.C., Feb. 4, 1866, by a desperado,
after peace had been declared.  She leaves two sisters and two brothers: Mrs.
Harriet Kemfield of Augusta, Mich.; Mrs. Gregg Williams of Ionia; Samuel B. Lake
of Yorkville, and Chas. Lake of Odessa.

There will be a short service at the house Tuesday morning, and they will leave
on 10:17 train for Yorkville, at which place funeral will be held on Wednesday.
