Kenyon of Yorkville, Mich., who has been spending the winter with her sister, Mrs. Gregg Williams of this city, died Sunday evening at 10:30, after an illness of two weeks aged 68 years. She had been a widow 41 years. Her husband, John E. Kenyon, was a first lieutenant in the 28th Michigan volunteers. He was killed at Pensacola, N.C., Feb. 4, 1866, by a desperado, after peace had been declared. She leaves two sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Harriet Kemfield of Augusta, Mich.; Mrs. Gregg Williams of Ionia; Samuel B. Lake of Yorkville, and Chas. Lake of Odessa. There will be a short service at the house Tuesday morning, and they will leave on 10:17 train for Yorkville, at which place funeral will be held on Wednesday.
