Leona Louise Kenyon, 65, of Lansing passed away Fri., May 31, 2002 at Ingham 
County Medical Center.  She was born on July 2, 1936 in Berlin Township, the 
daughter of Grover and Vicey (Greenhoe) Thomas.  Leona was a member of the 
Ladies Auxiliary of the Lansing VFW and the Moose Lodge.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, William Grover 
Thomas.  She is survived by her daughters, April (Rex) Davis and Tina Garrison; 
six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and 
numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service celebrating Mrs. Kenyon’s life will take place at 11 a.m., 
Thursday at the Cook Funeral Home, Ionia Rich Street Chapel with Rev. Steve 
Yarrington of Ionia Open Bible Church officiating.  There will be a time of 
visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service.  For those wishing, 
contributions in Leona’s memory may be made to the wishes of the family.
