          MABLE SHELLENBARGER, KERMEEN
   LAKE ODESSA - Mable (Shellenbarger) Kermeen, 83 of 1059 Emerson St..,Lake Odessa,
died Sunday, 
October 21 at Barry County Medical Care Facility where she had been a patient for
the past two weeks.
   She was born May 22, 1901 in Hastings, the daughter of Lee and Rachel Wellfare.
   On June 13, 1901, she was adopted by Thompson and Mamie Richardson Burns of
Sunfield.
   She attended Sunfield schools.
   She married Austin Shellenbarger on December 26, 1918.  He preceded her in death
on April 14, 1962.
   She married Shirley Kermeen on December 7, 1963.  He preceded her in death on
June 3, 1975.
   She lived her entire life in Grand Rapids and Lake Odessa.
   She was employed as a interior decorator for department stores in Grand Rapids
and Lake Odessa.  She 
was a member of the Faith Bible Church of Lake Odessa.
   She is survived by one daughter, Merilee Jockson of Sunfield, one son, Claude
Shellenbarger of Rural 
Saranac, one step-son John Kermeen of Middleville; eight grandchildren; one
step-grandchild; and 19 great 
grandchildren.
   Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Kppos Funeral Chapel in
Lake Odessa with Rev. 
Richard Sessink officiating.
   Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
   Visitation will be Tuesday from 3-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Koops Funeral Chapel.
