Ionia Daily Sentinel, 19 Feb 1917

Fried Kiestner, aged 84, died at the county home of heart trouble Sunday
morning.  He is survived by a wife who is an inmate in the Traverse City
hospital for the insane.  Burial was this afternoon in the county home cemetery.

[Transcriber's Note:  The name in the obituary is typed as it was printed.  The
cemetery record lists his surname as “Keistner”, the death certificate lists it
as “Kestner”.]
