Ionia Standard, 12 Jun 1896

The funeral of Gilbert E. Ketchum was attended from the Baptist church Sunday
afternoon, and the large audience room was filled completely.  The Modern
Woodmen attended, about fifty strong, and paid their parting respects to a
deceased brother, by following the remains to the grave.  The sermon at the
church was by Rev. F.O. Dickey, and music by a quartette composed of Mrs. Geo.
F. Brown, Miss Kate Benedict, and Messrs. W.H. Harris and Ernest Butcher. 
Interment was in Highland Park.
