February 9, 1983 LYLE KETCHUM JR. LAKE ODESSA - Lyle Ketchum Jr., 55, of 14755 Cemetery road,Lake Odessa died Monday morning at his residence. He was born September 18, 1927 in Lansing, the son of Lyle and Edith Gowing Ketchum. He graduated from Holt High School and married Beverly Wilbur, February 1, 1947. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He owned and operated a cement contracting business and moved to Lake Odessa in 1949. He was a member of the Ionia County Hunting and Fishing Club and the Fox Club. He attended the Faith Bible Church. He is survived by his wife, Beverly, two sons, Lon and Mark, both of Lake Odessa; two daughters, Bonnie Neil of Hastings and LuAnne Bronson of Lake Odessa; his mother Edith Ketchum of Lake Odessa two sisters, Lenora Adcock and Joyce McCloud both of Grand Ledge and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 PM from the Faith Bible Church, Lake Odessa with the Rev. Richard Sessink and the Rev.James Leasure officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeside cemetery. A memorial had been established for the Lake Odessa Ambulance. Envelopes are available at the Chapel.
