Ketner, 85, of Jackson, died Oct. 4. She was born Oct. 21, 1902 in Fenwick, the daughter of Edmond and Maude McCoy Jones. She was active in the Palo United Methodist Church as an organist and Sunday school treasurer, and organized the Hardscrabble school reunion. Her husband Lester preceded her in death in 1977. She had lived in Fenwick until 1948. She is survived by two daughters, Maxine M. Donoho and Dorothy Summers, both of Jackson; one son, Dewey Ketner of Chelsea; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one brother, Lloyd Jones of Fenwick; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Burden and Son Funeral Home in Jackson, the Rev. Milton Wood officiating. Committal services will be held at the Palo United Methodist Church on Friday at 2:30 p.m., the Rev. James Cook officiating. Burial will be in Palo Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home in Jackson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jackson County Heart Association.
