Ionia Sentinel Standard, 7 Oct 1964

Merritt Ketner, 78, of Middleville, father of Norman Ketner of 422 Morse street,
died Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. following a long illness.  

Mr. Ketner moved to Middleville three years ago after residing in Ionia about 20
years.  He was born in Paulding, April 25, 1886, the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. R.
Ketner.

Survivors include his wife, Inez; thee sons, Norman of Ionia, Lawrence of
Napoleon and Lyle of Lincoln Park; a sister, Mrs. Ida Emerson of Lansing; nine
grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Lester of Jackson,
Leroy of Spring Lake and Elmer of Marlette; and a sister, Mrs. Alma Hubbard of
Grant.
