KETNER Viva M. Ketner, 55, of 661 Bayard Street Ionia, died Thursday morning at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born June 30, 1900 in Matherton and was married to Gus Camphousen in 1916 and he died in 1923. Later she married Merritt Ketner in 1945. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Ionia, the Rebekahs and the Woodland Circle. Surviving are her husband, Merritt; her mother, Mrs.Pearl Taylor of Ionia; four aunts, Mrs.Blaine Laden of Ionia, Mrs.Maude Fowser of Grand Rapids, Mrs.Jessie Lafler of Ionia and Mrs.Henry Goshell of St.Johns; three uncles, Marion Fowler of Hubbardston, Vernon Fowler of Jackson, Marvin fox of Denver, Colo.; a foster daughter, Mrs. Virginia Forrest of Lansing; a foster brother, James Taylor of Ionia; one stepdaughter, Mrs.Ida Simpson of Lansing; three stepsons, Lyle Ketner of Dearborn, Laurence Ketner of Napoleon and Norman Ketner of Ionia. Funeral Services will be held at the Boynton Funeral Home, Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Court O.Adams officiating.
