He was returning to Dallas, where he was working for Joseph Bauer, from Fowler, to which station he had been for a windmill, which he had upon the damp-boards of the wagon. The horses became frightened at the noise, ran away, and Keusch was thrown from the wagon, one wheel passing over his neck, killing him instantly. He was unmarried.
