Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 25 Nov 1949

A three year illness proved fatal to Mrs. Theresia Keusch, 92, of Portland, who
died Wednesday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred J. Mauren in
Portland.  Mr. Mauren is publisher of the Portland Review and Mrs. Keusch has
been living with her daughter and her husband for some time.  Born in Westphalia
Mrs. Keusch has lived in Portland since 1904.

Survivors are two sons, John Keusch of Lansing and Ed Keusch of Portland; three
daughters, Mrs. Mauren and Mrs. Ed Manning, sr., of Portland and Mrs. Thomas L.
Palmer of Lansing.

Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. from the St. Patrick’s Catholic
church.  Burial will be at Portland cemetery.
