Olmsted of North Plains for eleven years, was killed Tuesday about noon by being thrown from his wagon. He had been to Muir with a load of corn and was returning home alone. He was seen a moment or so prior to the accident standing about in the center of the wagon, his team under full control. No one saw him fall and it is supposed that the team became frightened and threw him out, breaking his neck. He was found by Thos. Cox, who immediately summoned Dr. Weston, who arrived on the scene within an half hour after the accident, but life was extinct. Deceased was a single man and leaves a father and mother in the old country. He carried $2000 insurance, $1000 in the Woodmen and the other thousand in a Canadian company. The funeral is being held today (Thursday.)
