The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, August 7, 1951

Full military services were held for Frank Kidd, former Long lake store 
operator, at Carson City Sunday afternoon.  Services were under the auspices 
of the Carson City American Legion post.

Post chaplain Lawson Knowles gave the graveside services and the Carson City 
firing squad paid last honors.  Representing the Ionia post were Raymond 
Moore, post commander, H. T. MacDonough, Carl Seabrook, and Mr. and Mrs. 
Clarence Wickerham.

Kidd was found dead Friday morning in his housetrailer in Carson City.  He has 
lived in that town for about three years.
