Ionia Daily Standard, 20 Mar 1901

Mrs. Stephen T. Kidd died at the farm home in Orleans at 3 o’clock this morning.  
She was aged 60 years, and was the second wife of her surviving husband.  
Deceased was a number of years a resident of Ionia.  W. L. Kidd of this city, 
Mrs. Frank Howard of Isabella county, and Thos. Kidd of Kiddville, were children 
of the first wife, and Walter Kidd of Lakeview, and James C. of Orleans were own 
children of deceased.  She also had three sisters, all residents of Ionia: Mrs. 
Myron Morse, Mrs. W. L. Kidd and Mrs. H. P. Foster.  Funeral on Friday, from the 
home, and interment in Orleans cemetery.
