C. Kidder, 57, of Sheridan, died suddenly of heart disease Monday afternoon while on a contract job between Mulliken and Portland, where he was supervising the building of a county ditch. Funeral services will be conducted at the home in Sheridan Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock by Rev. A. B. (…illegible…) of Wayland. Mr. Kidder was born in Sheridan and had lived there his entire life. Several years he was the proprietor of the Sheridan hotel. He held memberships in the Masonic lodge and the Congregational church. Surviving are the widow; four children, Coyne, Hazen, Victor, and Bernadine, all of Sheridan; a grandchild; two brothers, M. C. Kidder of Stanton, and one in Ohio and two sisters, one of Spokane, Wash., and the other in West Branch.
