Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret E. Kidder, 44, of Cedar Springs, were 
Monday at 1:30 at Cedar Springs Methodist church with Rev. Carlos Page, 
district superintendent, officiating.  Mrs. Kidder was born March 7, 1921 and 
passed away July 1, at a Grand Rapids hospital following a long illness.

Organist was Connie Connor and bearers were Andy Johnson, Ted Denton, Russell 
Farwell, Robert Connor, Kenneth Blanding and J. H. Teusink.  Interment was in 
Elmwood cemetery, Cedar Springs.  

Rev. and Mrs. Kidder, Clare, Wilma and Carol came to Lyons in 1958 and Rev. 
Kidder served the Lyons and Pewamo Methodist churches as pastor for three 
years.  Methodist conference then sent him to Grand Rapids and later to serve 
as pastor of the Methodist church at Cedar Springs.  

Wilma is now Mrs. George Brown of Grand Rapids and they have a daughter.  
Carol is at home and Clare is stationed with the United States air force at 
Kincheloe AFB at Sault Ste. Marie.  Mrs. Kidder is also survived by her 
mother, Mrs. William Bailey of Maple Rapids.

Those from Lyons who attended the funeral services were Dr. and Mrs. A. C. 
German, Mr. and Mrs. Owen W. Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Dub, Mr. and Mrs. Paul 
Webster, Mrs. John Currigan, Mrs. Samuel Riker and Ruth Eckley.  Those from 
Muir were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Burger, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Halsted and 
daughter, Ruth, and son, Richard.

Surviving are her husband; a son, Airman Clare Kidder of Kincheloe AFB, Sault 
Ste. Marie; two daughters, Mrs. George Brown of Grand Rapids and Carol at 
home; her mother, Mrs. William Bailey of Maple Rapids; two brothers, a sister 
and a granddaughter.  

Burial will be at Elmwood cemetery.  The body is at Walsh-Bliss funeral home.
