Frederick Earl “Fred” Kilborn, 62, of Crystal, passed away Thursday morning,
April 20, 2006, at home under the loving care of his family and Carson Home Care
and Hospice.  The son of Frederick Freeman and Irene June Heaven Kilborn, he was
born on Aug. 5, 1943, in Belding.  A graduate of Belding High School, he drove
trucks for 43 years.  Fred was a proud member of the Lake City Masonic Lodge No.
408 and a diehard NASCAR racing fan and Michigan State Spartans fan.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene, on April 28, 2001.  He is
survived by his father, Fred F. Kilborn of Lake City; two daughters, Wendy Reed
and Tracy and Mike Moore, all of rural Morley; a son, Randy Kilborn of Crystal;
fiancé Patricia Sherman of Crystal; three sisters, Donna and Keith Simon of
Belding, Shirley and Tracy Morrison of Alabama, Marilyn Devers of Lake City; his
adopted brother and best friend, Chris and Sandy Hearld of Hubbardston; four
grandchildren, Kristina Jones, Stacey Jones, Cindy Moore and Andy Moore; two
great-grandchildren, Jaden Jones and Keirsten Campbell; several nieces and
nephews; and many dear friends.

Masonic service are at 2 p.m. Monday at Brown-Teman and Christiansen Funeral
Home, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, conducted by Lake City Lodge No. 408
F&AM.  Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place at Myrtle Park Crematorium
and there will be no visitation.  Instead of flowers, relatives and friends are
asked to please consider the needs of the family.  Envelopes for memorial
contributions will be available at the funeral home.
