The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, December 27, 1898

The funeral service for Mrs. Mary Ann J. Kilbourne was attended from her late 
home on Lincoln Avenue, yesterday afternoon.  The discourse was by Rev. E. M. 
Jeffers of the First Baptist church, which society had her unwavering personal 
and pecuniary support in large measure for years during her active life.  The 
singing was by Misses Grace Allured and Pearl Freeman, and Messrs. Arthur 
Brookins and W. D. Chamberlain.  The bearers were three nephews: Lee M. 
Hutchins of Grand Rapids, Jno. B. Hutchins of Detroit, Rob. Baerd, and a long 
time neighbor and friend, E. T. Montgomery.  Interment was in Highland Park.
