MARGARET KILDUFF 1928-2017
Margaret M. Kilduff, age 88 of Ionia, MI passed away Feb. 6, 2017 at Green Acres 
in Ionia. She was born May 14, 1928 in Ionia the daughter of John and Beulah 
(Shong) Bippley. Margaret married William Kilduff on June 14, 1947.


Along with her husband, they owned and operated Kilduff Oil, Inc., of Ionia 
while at the same time raising their five children who were her pride and joy. 
She was a lifelong member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church and was a former 
member of the Ionia Jaycees. She belonged to numerous bridge clubs and the Red 
Hat Society. Margaret was an avid golfer and she loved to quilt and to frequent 
the Hall-Fowler library for books to read.

Margaret is survived by her children, Matt Kilduff of Ionia, Joe (Kathy) Kilduff 
of Orleans, Anne (Wayne) Piercefield Jr. of Stanton, Barb (Clare) Colwell of 
Ionia, Karen (Don) Heppe of Orleans and one sister Beverly Bailey of Ionia. She 
was the grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother ("GG") to 15.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill and her sister Janice 
White.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, feb. 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. at SS Peter & 
Paul Catholic Church with Father tom Brown presiding. Visitation will be at the 
Lake funeral Home in Ionia on Thursday 5-7 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. and also 
one hour prior to service at the church. Those wishing may make memorial 
contributions to the Hall-Fowler Library of SS Peter & Paul Church. Online
