The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, September 4, 1990
William K. Kilduff, 65, of Ionia died Sunday at his home.  He was born June 
13, 1925, the son of Edward and Lillie Carroll Kilduff.  He graduated from SS. 
Peter and Paul Academy and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.  He 
was active in community affairs and served as a director of Jaycees, as a 
manger and president of Ionia Youth League, and SS. Peter and Paul Academy as 
a basketball coach.  He was a member of Ionia County Club and an avid golfer.  
He owned and operated the Kilduff Oil Company in Ionia for 29 years.

Surviving are his wife Margaret; two sons, Matthew and Joseph, both of Ionia; 
three daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Anne) Piercefield and Mrs. Clare (Barbara) 
Colwell, both of Ionia, and Mrs. Donald (Karen) Heppe of Orleans; 12 
grandchildren; two brothers, Carroll of Santa Ana, California, and Robert of 
Saranac; and two sisters, Genevieve Read of Palo and Patricia Shook of Mt. 
Pleasant.

Funeral Mass will be held at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church at 11 a.m. 
Wednesday.  Organist will be Mary Cusack.  Burial will be in Mt. Olivet 
Cemetery.  The family will be at Cook Funeral Home Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. 
and 7 to 8:30 p.m.  Prayer vigil will be led by St. Mary Pat Beatty at 8:30 
p.m. Tuesday. 

A memorial has been established for SS. Peter and Paul’s’ Educational Trust 
Fund, in care of the funeral home.  Pallbearers will be Sid Kasper, William 
Bushong, William Carr, Al Brooks, Richard Bennett, and Kenneth Spaulding.  
Honorary pallbearers are Robert Kramer and Raymond Nash.
