Ionia Sentinel Standard, 25 Apr 1990

Effie Mae Killebrew, 74, of Westbrook Road, Ionia, formerly of Manton and
Howell, died Monday evening at her home.  She was born in Sparta, Tenn., Feb 17,
1916, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Lou Green Dodson.  She was married to
Thomas B. Killebrew; he survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Linda Uber and Dora Dingwall of Brighton and
Nancy Huskinson of Portland; a son, Craig Killebrew of Ionia; nine
grandchildren; a brother, Floyd Dodson, of Sparta, Tenn.; and a sister, Jenny
Nicholas, of St. Clair Shores.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Hardy United Methodist Church, on
M-59 east of Howell, with the Rev. Hayden Carruth Jr. and the Rev. Ben Bohnsack
officiating.  Burial will be in Parshallville Cemetery.
