Sentinel-Std. - Thursday, June 29, 1972

Jennie M. Kilts, 95, of Matherton, died Wednesday at an Ovid rest home.

Born June 9, 1877 in North Plains township she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 
Levi Dick. She was married September 9, 1895 to George Kilts and lived in 
Matherton since. She was a member of United Brethren church of Matherton.

Surviving are three daughters, Ms. Gladys Bennett of Kalamazoo, Mrs. Delilah 
Stevens of Lansing and Ms. Lula Barbaur of Matherton; son, Alton Kilts of 
Lansing, 21 grandchildren; 63 great grandchildren; 25 great-great 
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 pm at Estep funeral home north of Muir. 
Rev. James Baney will officiate and interment will be at East Plains cemetery.
